Life Drawing Class Feedback March
2010
These
are the comments you made in the informal feedback undertaken in the Monday
and Friday Buchan Street classes. Many
thanks for your thoughtful and encouraging replies. These help me keep the
class on track. I am always pleased
to hear what you think! I
have grouped similar comments together and noted the number of responses in
brackets.
There
is a clear divide between those who want long poses and those who do
not! It is gratifying to note that
you appreciate the core areas of the class – the two models, the lighting and
even, apparently, the teaching style. There
are requests for both traditional (and difficult) topics like foreshortening
and anatomy and more adventurous approaches including drawing on found
cardboard (using the printed lettering and random shape of the board). What you said
